Things to consider

As a first bike, one tends to over analyze. Get a decent enough first bike (not high budget) and don't analyze to get the perfect one. There are lots of models out there and most of the decent brands offer a pretty decent bike that you will not go wrong.

The important thing is to get going and to get on the bicycle. It's not a permanent choice. You can always exchange / upgrade later.

Key things to consider Don't worry about
Budget (including accessories)
Riding comfort
Weight (if you have to carry it sometime)
Too specific features (E.g. Disc brakes)
Getting all the accessories
