As a first bike, one tends to over analyze. Get a decent enough first bike (not high budget) and don't analyze to get the perfect one. There are lots of models out there and most of the decent brands offer a pretty decent bike that you will not go wrong.
The important thing is to get going and to get on the bicycle. It's not a permanent choice. You can always exchange / upgrade later.
